Seeing that theres a cross in the middle im guessing your church?

Theres different views to look at that Avatar.
1. Upside down and make it look like a sword.
2. Right side up of where it shows a cross and on the long shadow deal, it looks like its the church itself because you can see windows.
3. In Obiwan's case, it could look like a freaking light saber

Maybe this answer is better?
The medic standing at right, is Henry Hauser. He wears a helmet painted with the white Geneva Cross worn by the 326th Airborne Medical Company. He is inspecting the vertical stabilizer of a German fighter plane, which was abandoned along the autobahn in Bavaria, enroute to Berchtesgaden, in April, 1945.
